What is network cabling

Network Cabling

Network cables are used to connect and transfer information and data between different kinds of devices such as computers, switches, routers etc. So information and data move from one network device to another network device through network cables.

There are different types of cables such as fibre optic cable, twisted pair cable, coaxial cable and many more. Apart from physical cables, wireless networks use radio, infrared signals or some electromagnetic radiation to allow network devices to exchange data with each other.
